Pesto Alla Genovese is a traditional Italian thick sauce originating in the northern city of Genoa. Prepared with a combination of pounded basil, crushed garlic, grated hard cheese, pine-nuts &sunflower oil. This wonderful Pesto sauce began on the sun drenched slopes of the coastal Pacific Mountains in central Peru, on land with rich soil and pure water. Fresh Basil is hand selected and combined with Grana Padano cheese, garlic and pinenuts to create this tasty thick sauce. Use as a pasta sauce, a pizza topping, a marinade for seafood or combined with cream cheese as a dip.
